General
It shows targeted product offers to shoppers while they are buying – on the product page, on the cart page, or in a popup – so a visit that would have been one item becomes a larger order. Offers are created in the app inside your Wix dashboard and rendered on your Wix site by the app's own script.
Five offer mechanics are available: Cross-sell (recommend other products), Product Add-on (optional extras such as a warranty or gift wrap), Frequently Bought Together (a preselected bundle), Volume Discount (buy more of the same product, save more) and Buy X Get Y (buy a set quantity, get items free).
Offers come in three types: Product Page Offer (near the buy button), Cart Offer (on the cart page) and Popup Offer (opens over the page when the shopper clicks Add to cart or Checkout). Cart offers support Cross-sell and Product Add-on only, because the other mechanics need a single product to build around.
Yes. Offers are responsive and work on phones, tablets and desktops. The analytics dashboard also breaks performance down by desktop and mobile.
Yes. The Design tab of every offer lets you change colours, background, button styling and layout so the offer matches your site. Cross-sell and add-on offers can switch between carousel and stacked layouts.
Yes. Each offer can show an optional urgency bar with either a rolling countdown per shopper or one fixed end date shared by everyone. You set it on the offer's Content tab.
Installation & Setup
Open the Wix App Market, find MindTrek: Upsell & Cross-sell and click Add to Site. Review the permissions and click Agree & Add. The app opens on the free Starter plan and you can create your first offer straight away. See the installation guide for step-by-step instructions.
No. When you install the app it adds its storefront script to your site automatically through the Wix apps API, so offers render as soon as they are saved. Code is only needed if you want to use the optional theme block placement to put an offer in an exact spot.
Yes. Offers work with any Wix template. Make sure your site is published – offers appear on the live site, not in the Wix Editor. Wix free sites are supported too.
Paste an empty div where you want the offer –
<div class="mindtrek-upsell-product-page-block"></div> for product page offers or <div class="mindtrek-upsell-cart-block"></div> for cart offers. Wix has no theme files, so the snippet goes in through Custom Code: in your Wix dashboard, go to Settings › Custom Code, click + Add Custom Code, paste the snippet, set Place Code In to Body – end and choose the pages. Your site has to be published and have a connected domain before Wix accepts custom code. Do not use an HTML embed element – it renders inside an iframe, where the app cannot reach it.
No. Wix's side cart is a closed widget that apps cannot draw into, so cart offers on Wix appear on the cart page only. A popup offer triggered from the cart page Checkout button is a good alternative.
Usually a few seconds – it can take up to 20 seconds for a saved offer to appear on your storefront.
Offers & Discounts
Yes. When an offer carries a discount, the app creates real Wix discount rules scoped to the offer's recommended products, so the shopper is charged the discounted price at checkout – the saving is not just a badge on the widget.
Yes. Because the discount is a Wix discount rule on those products, it applies whenever they are in the cart, not only when they are added through the offer widget.
Check that the offer's discount switch is on, its schedule has not ended, the app's on/off switch is on, the offer has at least one recommended product, and your plan still has impressions left. You can see the discount the app created under Marketing › Coupons & Discounts in your Wix dashboard.
Is your site published? Offers only appear on the live site, not in the Wix Editor preview. Then confirm the offer's status is Active rather than Draft, the app's on/off switch is on, the offer's visibility includes the product you are viewing (and it is not excluded), the schedule has not ended, and your plan still has impressions left. See Troubleshooting for more.
A popup opens once per shopper per browsing session, so returning shoppers are not interrupted every time. To test it, add
?up_popup=1 to your store URL – this opens the popup immediately, ignoring the trigger and the once-per-session limit.
Yes. Save the offer with its status set to Draft. Draft offers are saved but never shown on your storefront, so you can switch them to Active when your campaign starts.
The dashboard reports impressions (offer shown), clicks (shopper interacted) and conversions (recommended product added to cart from the offer), broken down by offer and by device. Analytics never record who the shopper was.
Billing & Plans
Yes. The Starter plan is free and includes 1,500 impressions. Paid plans are Growth at $16 / month with 10,000 impressions, and Unlimited at $30 / month with no impression cap.
No. Every plan includes the same features – unlimited offers, every offer type and every discount. Only the number of impressions changes.
An impression is one offer shown to one shopper, counted across all your offers combined. Impressions are a one-time allowance on every plan – they do not reset each month; only the price is monthly.
Your offers, and the discounts behind them, are hidden from your site until you upgrade. They come back straight away once you do – your offers and settings are kept.
Paid plans are bought through Wix's own pricing page – choosing a plan in the app takes you there – and are billed monthly by Wix.
Cancel the paid plan from your Wix account under Billing & Payments, or switch back to the free Starter plan from the Plans page in the app.
